Hi, I am Melissa, and I am the founder and owner of Sage Property Styling.

I personally have moved around A LOT! I’m talking 8 times in the last 5 years… I’ve sold, bought, rented and if there is one thing, I have learnt it’s that selling a home is always based on a life event! Whether it be growing families, empty nesters, break ups, marriages, and the worst, deceased estates… whatever the reason, there is always a reason that has prompted the decision to sell.

I want to know your story; I genuinely care about each home. Every property has a story, every person has a story. Sage Property Styling is my dream – figuratively and literally!

For the first 3 years of running my business I traded under the business name Staged Homes by Melissa – until I had a dream one night to change the name to Sage Property Styling and woke with an overwhelming feeling that I had to change it up and rebrand the whole business. I am a pretty spiritual person and believe in the messages I receive in my dreams…

‘Why sage?’ you might be wondering. Well, as you probably know, sage is an aromatic herb known for its cleansing properties. It’s been used for centuries to cleanse spaces of negative energy, to promote healing, and generate wisdom and clarity.

For me, sage is the perfect symbol for my business philosophy. By bringing an energy of rejuvenation and new beginnings to your home and following that up with the best (sage!) advice on how to style your home to maximise its selling potential.

And, finally, knowing just how stressful and overwhelming selling a house can be, I strive to make the experience as calm and worry-free as possible.

Property styling isn’t just a job for me, it’s my passion, and I go above and beyond to make every home staging project perfect. Our staged homes are photo ready the moment we walk out the door.
